Power plant on Greek island faced a long-term problem regarding the common rail injection system on their engines. Due to the high fuel pressure on their injection system, every misfailure on their injector was evaluated as “non-repaired”, by previous subcontractors & site managers. Through the support of our specialised partners in DUAP, we managed to remove & repair injectors. Each nozzle went through the process of dismantling, condition evaluation, edge lapping, nozzle changing, reassembly & test-bench on working pressure. W&K executed the reassembly – commissioning on site performance tests.
